I am a medical doctor from the Philippines and am aspiring to study a master’s degree in the UK.

I had not heard of Pedro Ballester until a few weeks ago when I saw his prayer card while scrolling through my Facebook feed. Earlier that day I had received my first rejection from one of the universities where I applied. When I learned that Pedro was a young student from the UK, I prayed for his intercession that my application would be reconsidered.

I e-mailed the university and provided further explanation about my previous degrees. A few days later, they offered me an unconditional offer to my program of choice!
I continue to ask for Pedro’s intercession that I may receive an offer from another university and that I can obtain a scholarship to fund my study in the UK and hopefully assist in the apostolate there. My scholarship interview is the day after I am writing about the favour.
