Since January 2020 my husband has been searching for a good, stable job. But since the pandemic, it seemed that as time passed it would be more and more difficult. My husband was also teaching at a university. So we decided to start with a consulting business, and hope that he could get some clients. He did get a few but the most important one is finishing off three important projects on June: so the consultant fee would be reduced to almost half.
I was very worried, because if we did not find a solution soon, we would have to file for bankruptcy.
On February 10th, I started praying to Pedro for his intercession, but I did not ask for a specific solution, because I had no idea how to fix this. I just knew we needed a miracle. I was so distressed that I was not praying everyday.
On February 27th, my husband was fired from the university. This news could have crushed me, but since I started praying to Pedro, the first thing that happened was that I easily recovered my prayer life, so I was very serene when my husband gave me the news.
Then, on March 22nd, my husband was called for a job interview. Three weeks later, he was confirmed in the position. The financial proposal was better than the one we were expecting. In that moment, we also realised, that if he hadn't been fired from the university, he would not be able to accept this job, because they needed someone to start immediately and it was the same date as the final exams at the university. Also, they told my husband that they were looking for an engineer but without the job experience.
So thanks to Pedro's intercession, my husband stated working on April 17th.
On April 27th I received a phone call from one of our client’s business partner. He found out that our other client was going to be reducing our working hours, and wanted to know if I was interested in taking on a few projects with him. The fee that we agreed on, is almost double the one we used to charge the other client. It seems to me that I asked to Pedro to solve our family's financial problems, and he did, but the most important miracle was performed in my heart. He returned to me the hope and joy that only prayer can give a soul.
