I have been living in Japan for 40 years. During my retreat last week I read a book about the life of Pedro Ballester and it has helped me a lot.
I am the Bursar of a student residence and when I came back from the retreat, I had to deal with the accounts, which, at my age, is one of the "bogeymen" I have to deal with every month. This time the accounts did not add up, and by a lot. Even with the help of the director, we couldn't find the cause. Remembering that Pedro's last job was to be the Bursar of his Centre, I entrusted him with it and we immediately found the problem. Since that day I have appointed him "Honorary Bursar ". For the good that his example does me and to see him on the altars, as it would be for the good of so many people, I wanted to record, with gratitude, this small favour.
Thank you.
