I am a 3rd year medical student and this semester I am seeingpatients in gynaecology. Contraception is one of the most common demands inthis service. I was really concerned about this, because, despite my Catholicconvictions, as a student I still don’t have the freedom to recommend to the patientother ways of acting.
This situation is very delicate for me, because itinvolves moral issues, my convictions and academic evaluation. Pedro has been agood friend since last year, especially with university issues. So, as I was introuble, I prayed his prayer for private devotion with great confidence. Afterthat, I had good lights into how to act in this situation.
Yesterday, I saw my first patient and everything wentreally well. Thanks, Pedro!
