After dropping off my wife at her office, I frequently listen to the Opus Dei podcast. While doing so, I came across the audiobook about Pedro written by Father George Boronat: I've never been happier! From the first moment, I was struck by Pedro's faith, serenity, and attitude while facing such a severe illness in his youth.
When I started listening to Pedro's audiobook, I was going through a harsh time after being unemployed for more than five months. However, after learning more about Pedro's life, character, and own struggles, I began to turn to him more often, asking him to help me get a job to serve God as he had served during his life and in the most adverse circumstances.
That same week, they called me for an interview that went very well, and last Friday, I was informed that I had made it to the second round. Additionally, a family has entrusted me with a genealogy research project. Although I do not have a full-time job yet, I trust that Pedro will walk by my side during this process, and I know that it is through his intercession that I have received these blessings in the last weeks.
