I have two brothers with a rare disease: Myotonic dystrophy. The struggle with the doctors to get them treated by a specialist was too much for me and because of my dedication to work I didn't have much time. I asked Pedro a year ago for someone to help me. Someone close to me offered to go to the doctor with them. And a friend I hadn't seen for 30 years, and whom I met by chance, showed me the steps I had to take, as she works in the area of the disabled.
I have not stopped praying to Pedro and since then he has accompanied me on every step we have taken and in every procedure we have had to carry out. My siblings are well cared for by specialists. They have recognised his disability and he now receives a benefit. I am convinced of Pedro's help and I continue to ask him to help my brothers to deal with their illness in a Christian way.
