This morning I didn't have much time and I had to do a lot of things. I turned on the computer and alas, it wasn't responding. So I tried the typical routines: unplugging the cable and trying to turn it on, plugging it into another socket... All this was to no avail. I tried to start it again, to look for other possibilities, etc. Nothing. So I said to myself, this is getting serious; I need help.
Recently I came across Pedro’s story. A friend of mine spoke to me enthusiastically. Although the book was in Spanish, she passed it to me. I liked it very much. I had just finished it and I began to confide in Pedro with some frequency.
So, now, I said to myself: let's ask him for help. I said: “Pedro, help me, I need you”, as if I wanted to see if it really worked. At the same time I tried to turn on the computer. It didn't react.
I then thought that maybe I didn't trust Pedro enough. It struck me that his relatives call him Pedrito, something I don't like. So I said to myself that maybe he does love it and that he needs to feel that he is trusted. I said mockingly, as if challenging him: “Pedrito, I need your help...” and at the same time I turned on the computer. Immediately, the computer made the typical noise when it turns on. I smiled, a little surprised and was moved. It works, our friendship works.
