That my vocation is a divine adventure, had become a little blurred

I have had devotion to Pedro since 2018. We are almost the same age: he was born in 1996 and I in 1995. And we were both to be Numeraries. This already meant that his example and holy life filled me with hope in a special way, because I feel very close to him. Between 2015 and 2019 I was living in a Centre of the Work with a priest whose sister lived in Manchester and so I was able to follow Pedro’s illness. At the same time, I learned of the spiritual help that his death and funeral meant for the brother-in-law of this priest.
A week before Pentecost of this year (2023) I began to pray a novena of prayer cards to Pedro, asking him to see my vocation in the Work with renewed enthusiasm. Although there was no particular difficulty, to me it had become a little blurred that our vocation – Pedro's and mine – is a divine adventure, like that of the first members of Opus Dei.
In the last days of the novena I was able to understand with new depth several aspects of my dedication and my personal maturity: that my work, my supernatural family and my character were all a single thing willed by God, for which I had every reason to give thanks. In other words, it made me see – without my expecting this conclusion at all – that with God's help I could see the things that burdened me in a very different, almost opposite way.
I attribute this with all certainty to Pedro's intercession. I pray for his beatification and I continue to ask him for many favours (I have had his prayer card on my bedside table at all times for at least a year, which is when I got printed copy), especially in the living out of my vocation in Opus Dei.
