I was on my way to see the man I am courting, who lives several hours away by train. There had been an intense period of sunshine and I panicked as I saw red spots spreading along my arm and this huge rash growing bigger and bigger. I am allergic to the sun, and had been out too much. It would be there for days. My boyfriend wouldn't have minded; but, of course, it meant a lot to me as I wanted to look beautiful for him. I prayed to Pedro Ballester that I would be healed, and by the time I arrived, the rash had disappeared. My prayers were answered.

I am grateful to Pedro and to God: I'm moved that even my little cares could matter. God is with us!
